Physical reactions include:

• Slurred and varied speech
• Slow and deliberate movement
• Decreased alertness, and
• Loss of coordination, when a person:
  • Is sitting or standing
  • Fumbles with their money
  • Spills their drink
  • Cannot find their mouth with their drink
  • Is unable to sit straight on their chair or barstool
  • Sways as if appearing drowsy
  • Bumps into things
  • Falls
  • Is unable to light their cigarette.
